School Book Fair

The school book fair was coming up, and Jack was excited to see what books would be there. He had been saving his allowance for weeks, and he was ready to buy some new books to add to his collection.

On the day of the book fair, Jack hurried to the school library. He was happy to see so many books, but he didn't know where to start. Then he saw a table with a sign that said "New Releases." Jack walked over to the table and saw a book with a bright red cover. The title was "The Secret of the Haunted House."

Jack picked up the book and read the back cover. It was about a boy who moves into a new house and discovers that it's haunted. Jack loved scary stories, and he knew he had to have this book.

As he walked to the checkout, Jack noticed a girl from his class looking at a different book. She seemed really interested in it, but she put it back and walked away. Jack picked up the book and saw that it was called "The Last Unicorn." He didn't know anything about unicorns, but the girl had looked so interested in it. Maybe he should buy it too.

At the checkout, Jack paid for his books and left the library. On his way to class, he ran into the girl who had been looking at "The Last Unicorn."

"Hey, I saw you looking at that book," he said. "Did you want it?"

The girl looked surprised. "Oh, no. I wasn't going to buy it. I just wanted to read the back cover."
