Montisorri Bankers Game Cards
Game Overview
Players take turns drawing cards from three decks to determine their transaction:
- Operation Deck: Determines if players are adding (earning), subtracting (spending), multiplying (investing), or dividing (sharing)
- Transaction Deck: Describes the financial scenario
- Number Deck: Contains large and small numbers to use in calculations
Players use the golden bead materials to show their work, and the banker verifies calculations before distributing or collecting money.
Setup Instructions
- Designate one player as the banker
- Each player starts with 1000 units (represented by golden bead materials)
- Arrange the three decks face down
- Place the golden bead materials within reach of all players
How to Play
- On your turn, draw one card from each deck
- Complete the mathematical operation using the golden bead materials
- Show your work to the banker
- Either receive money from or pay money to the bank
- The player with the most money after all players have had 10 turns wins
