Characters 
Characters are the people or animals in a story. They can be the main character or the supporting characters. Example: In the story of "The Three Little Pigs," the pigs are the main characters.

Setting 
The setting is the place and time where the story takes place. Example: The setting of the story of "The Three Little Pigs" takes place in a forest.

Plot 
The plot is what happens in the story. It includes the beginning, middle, and end of the story. Example: The plot of "The Three Little Pigs" is that the pigs build houses to protect themselves from the wolf.

Conflict 
The conflict is the problem or challenge that the main character faces in the story. Example: In "The Three Little Pigs," the conflict is that the wolf is trying to eat the pigs.

Resolution 
The resolution is the way the conflict is resolved or solved in the story. Example: In "The Three Little Pigs," the resolution is that the pigs build a strong brick house and the wolf is unable to blow it down.

Theme 
The theme is the lesson or moral of the story. It is the main idea that the author wants the reader to learn. Example: The theme of "The Three Little Pigs" is that hard work and preparation pays off.
