Good Essential Question?

How do you Develop Essential Questions?

Teachers and questions are as commonplace in school as chalk, yet
asking great essential questions that initiates deep critical thinking plus engages the student's curiosity is not commonplace. How do we create essential questions for the purpose of inviting a deeper level of critical thinking, curiosity, and Socratic inquiry into all subject matters? Developing this critical skill of asking great essential questions before, during, and after all lessons is essential for building the “Four Cs”: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. The quality of our lessons is determined by the quality of our student's critical thinking and engagement. Starting each lesson with a fun essential question is the foundation for inspiring your student's curiosity and passion for learning.
