ACT Reading Readiness Quick Test Directions: Begin with the grade level test below your current grade! The TEST readiness word lists are based on the "4th-8th Grade Tier 2 academic vocabulary words "ACT Test Question Vocabulary" the students starts with a list that is at least one or two grades below the student’s current grade level. Have the student read each word aloud on that list and use the word in a detailed sentence demonstrating a true understanding of the term or give a comprehensive definition. Continue until the student makes three or more errors in a list to see if they are ready for the ACT Reading Assessments.
