Philosophy for Children: Lesson Plans | Philosophical Inquiry for Kids (P4C)

Philosophy for Children or Philosophical Inquiry for Kids (P4C), is
a pedagogical philosophy that aims to teach inductive/deductive reasoning and Socratic and argumentative dialectical skills to young scholars. 
 

Jean Piaget the Swiss developmental psychologist known for his work on child development theorized that children were not capable of critical or analytical thinking until age 11 or 12. Teachers that work with younger children find that all children benefit from philosophical inquiry and yes even in primary school. 

Furthermore, there is more data, research and concrete evidence that show the real-world benefits of teaching young scholars Philosophical Inquiry and inductive/deductive reasoning skills early in school. Students that study Philosophy see big improvements in academic skills and overall enjoyment in learning.
