CCSS Math Crosswalk | Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8

CCSS Math Crosswalk | CCSS Math Crosswalks Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8

CCSS MATH crosswalks for grade level math teachers. Meet and exceed the new PARCC and Smarter Balanced CCSS Math testing content with the K-12 CCSS Math Crosswalks. High School math teachers that administer the new CCSS end of course math test will need to understand the very complex testing tasks to help students succeed.
Crosswalks are used to help teachers and parent’s transition to new content or curriculum, they define additions or deletions to revised curriculum. The CCSS math standards are a tsunami that will create great difficulties for all involved if all parties are not prepared.
The new CCSS math content is "demanding and rigorous", the “Higher Order Thinking Skills and Complex Testing Task” are the biggest hurdle for many students and parents. Students are asked to model higher order thinking, using extended responses, that are based on word problems that use WEBB'S DOK. The language used on the new math test is about two years above today's average reading level for public school students. Many college educated adults would have difficulty with the new CCSS math test. Sean
